Join us for Camp at Running Star Ranch! We offer a safe and fun filled program that is full of horse interaction time! Campers will enjoy learning about all aspects of horse care including grooming, leading, feeding, and of course riding the horses! They will also learn interesting facts about their horses and also get to make fun horse themed crafts that they can bring home with them. Participants must wear long pants, closed toe shoes or boots with a heel, and dress for the weather. Riding Helmets are required. You may bring your own or we will supply one. Please bring a water bottle each day and we will provide some yummy snacks. Camp can take place rain or shine as we have indoor riding facilities as well as outdoor. Summer Camp Reserve your spot early! Camp size is limited to 12 riders to ensure individual attention. We require a minimum of 8 participants to conduct camp. A deposit of $100 is required to reserve a spot and is nonrefundable unless we do not have enough sign up. Full Payment is due 2 weeks prior to camp and a signed waiver release form is required on or before first day of camp. Camp includes a daily snacks, craft supplies and a camp T-shirt. On the last day of camp, families can arrive early to watch and take photos. Campers get to participate in all the normal camp activities, but with a holiday theme. These camps are limited to 8 riders per camp. 2024 Camp Dates:

Little Buckaroos Camp:
This camp is designed for the little cowgirls and cowboys! All activities in this camp will be targeted towards our youngest riders and will include safe and reliable horses, along with knowledgeable and experienced staff. Participants ages 6-8 may attend this camp with any level of riding ability. Camp is 3 hours per day for 4 days. Trail Blazers: This camp is designed for riders ages 9+. For the riding portion of camp, we will group the riders up based on riding experience. This will make sure they are riding with those similar to their skill level and participating in activities matches with their riding abilities. Camp is 3.5 hours per day for 4 days. Wranglers: This camp is designed for riders ages 11+. For the riding portion of camp, we will group the riders up based on riding experience. This will make sure they are riding with those similar to their skill level and participating in activities matches with their riding abilities. Camp is 3.5 hours per day for 4 days. Top Hand This camp is designed for riders of any age who have riding experience at a walk, trot and canter. For this camp we will be setting up session targeted toward specific skills or events. For example: Trail Riding, Barrel Racing, ect. Camp duration will adjust based on the topic covered in camp. Parent/Child: This camp allows for children of any age to enjoy time with horses who are not ready to attend camp on their own. This camp allows for each rider to be accompanied by a parent, grandparent or other adult. Participants will learn horse safety, how to groom, saddle and ride the horses, along with other fun activities. The Two Horse option allows both the parent and child to each have their own horse. The One Horse option allows for the parent and child to work together with a single horse, taking turns for the riding portion. Each camp session is limited to the first two parent/child groups who register and submit their non-refundable $50 deposit payment. The remaining camp fee will be due day of camp. |
