Lady Jane
Lady Jane is a purebred Arabian mare. She is the eldest of the group, foaled in August 1987. Lady Jane was born and raised on my parent’s farm and was ridden for several years by my sister Jean. She has a great ability to take care of young riders and is fun for anyone to ride. She has competed in many 4-H and circuit shows and have been used several lessons and trail rides. Lady Jane is the smallest in size of the group, but don’t let that fool you. She has a lot of energy and loves to be taken out and ridden!

Saphire
Saphire is a super sweet Paint horse mare. She is moves out nicely and is a smooth ride for her students. She does a wonderful job carrying our advanced beginner, intermediate and advanced riders. Look for Saphire in lessons, summer camp, birthday parties or horse classes.

Skip Prince Array “Skip”
Skip is a registered Appaloosa gelding that was foaled in February 2006. He has been at Running Star Ranch since he was only nine months old! Skip is very personable and seems to always be into everything. When you walk towards the barn, he is always the first one to greet you. He likes lots of attention and absolutely loves to be brushed. You will see Skip out on the trails, in lessons, birthday parties or doing Ranch Riding classes at our local shows.

Mr. Freckles was adopted in the Fall of 2011 and is adjusting to life at Running Star Ranch. He does a great job riding on the trails as well as the arena. Mr. Freckles is currently on break keeping my parents' horse company.

Tandie is a Quarter Horse mare that is super fun to ride. She takes things nice and easy and is great for beginner riders. Tandie spent her early years as a dressage horse and later as a riding horse at a Girl Scouts camp. She has been at Running Star Ranch several years and you will see her in lessons, summer camp, birthday parties or helping our riders win ribbons at local shows.

JK Sugbar Gavotte “Levi”
Levi is a registered American Quarter Horse gelding that was foaled in April of 2006. Levi is very spirited with a lot of personality. He is a trained reining horse, so he can perform deep stops and awesome spins. Our advanced riders enjoy learning the advanced maneuvers that Levi can perform.

Timmy
Timmy is an American Quarter Horse gelding. He is a big guy, but don't let that scare you.....he is the sweetest horse you will ever meet! Timmy used to be a roping horse, but now spends his time as a lesson horse, taking riders out on the trail and going to some local shows.

Invested in Candy "Candy Cane"
Candy Cane is a registered American Quarter Horse mare. She is a beautiful mare who used to be a show horse competing in Western Pleasure and other western events. She prefers to move along slowly, but can pick it up when asked. You will see our riders using her in lessons, trail rides as well as helping them win blue ribbons at our local shows.

Diamondistic "Sherman"
Sherman was a registered American Quarter Horse gelding who spent his early days as a reining horse. He was also a K-State Equestrian team horse before retiring to be a kids horse and eventually a lesson horse at Running Star Ranch. He took his time getting places and rarely got too excited. He did love to work cattle when he had a chance. He was loved by everyone who met him. Sadly we lost Sherman in May of 2016. He will forever be in the hearts of everyone at Running Star Ranch.
