Boy Scout Troops
Interested in earning your Horsemanship badge? Running Star Ranch can help you do just that! Located less than 5 minutes from Watkins Mill State Park Boy Scout camp, we are super convenient for those wanting to add an additional activity to your camp out at the park. We offer two different options for achieving the Horsemanship badge with us: Option 1: Complete All Requirements Running Star Ranch will provide a knowledgeable staff member who will instruct troop members through all eleven requirements of the Horsemanship badge. Option 2: Complete Riding Only Requirements Troops can elect to study the non-riding components on their own, then come to Running Star Ranch for completion of the riding requirements. With this option we will spend a short time reviewing the non-riding requirements, then work through all riding requirements.
