Instructors & Staff
At Running Star Ranch we pride ourselves in having knowledgeable and caring riding instructors and staff members! We have three different instructors who come with varied backgrounds and skills to help meet your specific riding goals. Whether you visit us for summer camp, birthday parties, Boy Scout or Girl Scout events, or join us for our riding lesson program, you will will be greeted with individuals who have a love for horses and passion for teaching you about them.
Stephanie Jameson
Stephanie is a Missouri native who grew up showing horses in 4-H. She received her Bachelor’s in Animal Science from the University of Missouri where she served as the 1983 Rodeo Queen. Stephanie earned a Master’s in Education at Northern Illinois University. She has been involved in the horse industry for over 25 year as a trainer, riding instructor, clinician and judge. Stephanie’s students have earned multiple state championships in Showmanship, Western Horsemanship, English Equitation and Trail. With the help of her daughter, Randi, Stephanie’s horse judging teams have earned three American Paint Horse Association World Championships, a top ten finish at the 2012 Quarter Horse Youth World, a Reserve Championship at the 2012 Quarter Horse Congress, and a National Championship at the 2013 4-H Western National Roundup. Kim Blanton
Kim loves to keep it natural and brings a wealth of Natural Horsemanship knowledge to Running Star Ranch. Kim is well versed in Parelli Natural Horsemanship, studying those methods for the past 14 years. Kim has an extensive background with horses, including showing Halter and Tandem Horsemanship. Kim also previously taught English lessons at Oakmont Riding Academy with Wanda Anderson. Kim has always loved horses and has a passion for teaching. Working with students at Running Star Ranch gives her the opportunity to combine both of those passions and create a perfect opportunity to do what she loves.
